TML PRESEASON PICKS and PANS

Max Mercy here. 2010 promises to be a great year with an intriguing move to a new divisional format. It will be an ugly year for traditional powers Albany, Beverly and Arkansas. But division titles will be won in Danny Way, Walla Walla,Brandon, Valparaiso, Toxic Waste and Rensselaer. Amsterdam and up and coming Carolina will be the wild cards.

Gavin Floyd will be the Cy Young winner and Francisco Cordero will be the Fireman of the Year. Robinson Cano will be the batting champ. Adrian Gonzalez will be the home run king. Ryan Braun will be the RBI leader and Matt Kemp the king of thieves.

before going on to the playoff matchups, lets pick the kings of pain: the hacking masses and rag arms of the league. Drum roll please. Here are the fab four.

In the playoffs, Walla Walla will go to the well once too often with the surrogate manager and be stunned in the first round by Brandon who wins game 7 with a Kershaw shut out.. In a milder upset Valpo will long to be back in the Steinmetz after Rensselaer handles them in 5. Otherwise the River Rats and the Diamonds hold serve.

In the league finals Toxic cruises to a game a 5 game win while a great outing by Scott Baker prevents Brandon from knocking off the other high seed Danny Way in another Game 7 thriller. Finally, the Rats take Game 7 from the Diamonds to become TML champs yet again.
