** 2010 TML PLAYER OF THE YEAR **

'Skyuna's Albert Pujols was the unanimous choice
for "Player of the Year" garnering all 24 first
place votes! Valparaiso's Adrian Gonzalez
finished a solid second in the voting. Pujols
missed winning the Triple Crown by only 2 points
of batting average to Ichiro Suzuki. Pujols led
the league in HR and RBI. His 214 RC is the 4th
highest of all time and his 66 HR ranks 7th on
the all time list. This was Pujols' 3rd "Player
of the Year"
award, the others coming in 2003 and
2005. He now joins Barry Bonds and Albert Belle
as the only three-time winners of the award.

** 2010 TML PITCHER OF THE YEAR **

Perth's Zack Greinke was voted "Pitcher of the
Year"
, with 9 first place votes and 60 total
points. Beverly's Dan Haren finished second,
with 34 points and Danny Way's Scott Baker
third, with 28 points. Greinke led the TML
in Ks and was second in ERA. The voters
respected the fact that his 15-11 record came
on a team that lost 101 games!

** 2010 TML FIREMAN OF THE YEAR **

Toxic Waste's C.J. Wilson won "Fireman of the Year"
notching 50 saves. His 0-6 record, 6 BS and rather
high ERA of 3.36 indicates how dominant he was in
his 50 converted save appearances. He is now the
5th Toxin to win this award.
